Christians Attacking Agnostics

I was browsing through a discussion in an Agnostic group. I noticed that Christian brothers and sisters were attacking these people, threatening them with hell and damnation. This made me sick to my stomach and I had to comment. This is what I said. Please feel free to comment. Let me know if I did the right thing:

I'm a believer, but I'm not here to start anything negative. This message is for other Christians. I probably would've become a Christian decades ago if I weren't threatened with hell and damnation. If you want to come here with the intent of bringing someone to salvation, you will not succeed by threatening them with something that they don't believe to exist. The reason I wrote Twisted Christians was a two-fold effort. 1. Allow for nonbelievers to open their minds to the possibility of the existence of God and 2. Wake up the Christians who have been duped for the past 2,000 years.

How can you call yourself a believer if you're exchanging gifts on a pagan holiday (and who is Santa anyway? lol) or hiding eggs on yet another pagan holiday? And how can you call yourself a believer if you don't recognize that the 7th day of the week is Saturday, yet you only dedicate Sundays to God? How can you read Jeremiah chapter 10 and still put up that Christmas tree each year? If God is telling you all throughout the Bible to celebrate Passover, but you insist on celebrating Easter, then you better check yourself before you wreck yourself.

Peace to all,
Scott Meade
